Re-homing a Wheaten
Whilst we're lucky enough not to have as many dogs to re-home as
some other breeds (partly due to the success of our puppy waiting list), we do
occasionally have Wheatens who need a new home.
The club keeps a register of people who are looking to re-home a
Wheaten and the re-home co-ordinator tries to match up the dogs' needs as best
as possible with the prospective new owners circumstances.
There are many reasons why a Wheaten might need to be re-homed -
it could be due to the owners changed circumstances, i.e. marital break-up,
prolonged working hours, ill health or occasionally we might be asked to help
re-home a dog with problems.
At present we're particularly looking for
prospective owners who don't have other pets or children.
